New Build
New build is even smoother, as is the OC kernal. I think the inability to hear phone calls is either a manufactuer or provider issue. Since no one else has had this problem, that is the only thing that makes sense.  You mentioned OH1 is the modem now. Is that in the 10/28/15 build?  If not can you post it? Thank you again for all the hard work you have done and will do!! Your skill and knowledge is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for the input on
Thank you for the input on EVERY build.  I need input to find out what works and what doesn't.  It puts a smile on my face to see others helping each other as well.  I've had a small set back with a drive that was failing and decided enough was enough and replaced it.  Time is my enemy right now and I'm doing the best I can to keep up and transition to (M).  **note - I have not lost any data.  Remember to always have a backup >:)

kedges,  If I can find the time to extract the OH1 modem I will, oddly that's something I haven't had time to research.  In the meantime you can backup what you have and then use odin to flash the latest stock rom and do a PRL update, Profile update, and then use odin to flash Philz touch and restore your backup.  This will give you the latest and greatest OH1 modem version.  Your OH1 modem will not be erased unless you use odin to flash an older version of the stock rom.

Thank you!
Without your work and diligence, none of us would have the great phones we have now. We all help each other so that each of us may achieve the best we can. Thanks again for all you do.

Testing the new build now.
I am testing the new build - version LMY48Y now.  This build will require a wipe of cache and dalvik/art cache.  Several upstream updates, kernel, and modifications to memory management.

BUILD is available now.

New build
Clean flashed new build 11/4 as well as OC kernal 11/4. all was fine until I added supersu after which I received process has stopped error and had multiple freezes. few apps would function. Flashed 10/28 back as well as 10/28 kernal. Was adding ChainFire's SuperSU the cause? If so let me know.

Addendum: Re wiped, re-flashed, no super su as of yet , just using CM privacy. So far so good.

On a side note I reinstalled the stock rom with OH1 on 11/01 and the 10/28 rom after. No change in phone call problem, still intermitent. I still think it's hardware.

I've never used any other SuperSu than the one I supplied in my Mega folder.  I think that may narrow down what caused the process has stopped error's.  As far as the intermittent signal, I am starting to think it may be hardware related as well.  I personally didn't notice any difference in signal strength and quality with the OH1 modem as well.  Strange...  BTW, I'm sorry about not being around much the past week.  I've been helping someone move, work, and rebuilding 2 of my laptops.

Life happens
No worries! You have a life and that's a good thing. 11/12 build is smooth with no worries. Popped in your version of SU and it's working great. Thank you again. Your mastery is appreciated.

Let me know what exactly isn't working or what app is giving you a problem and I'll take a look at it.

Working on Marshmallow and Lollipop
I've compiled and installed Cyanogenmod 13 "M".  I have some problems to fix.  I'm having a camera issue and sim card issue.  Obviously without the simcard - No cell service.  I've added DRM libraries needed for Netflix in the next LP5.1.1 build and merged upstream updates.

Work/Holidays
I apologize for not being around the past week.  Work and the holidays are wearing me out.  Also, there wasn't much new in the last build so I skipped the last update.  I'm working overtime and my days off at the moment.

I hope everyone's doing great and enjoying this time of the year.

Build 12/09
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to post the new build. Flashed both and all was fine. About an hour in apps were updating and the system decided to check my SD card for errors. After it finished, all the info was missing. After freaking out I went into Philz and everything was there. Not sure if thats a bug, doesn't seem likely, but posted just in case. I flashed back to 11/18.

Edit: back on 11/18. all file registered and were there. very strange.

Another edit: Had to re-install Viper and files again missing, they show on Philz but not when in system. Sd card shows empty. I'm at a loss.

Final edit: Back on 12/09 and all is well. Had to be some unnoticed dumb mistake on my part. As always, thank you MM for your amazing work. I really love my phone for the first time in years!

Great Rom
I would like to thank OP for this great rom and all of his hard work!!!
Since there is no development for my version of the Galaxy Mega,(SCH-R960 CDMA), I decided to give this rom a try. I was shocked when it booted and ran so smoothly. I'm using my Mega on Boost Mobile service, which was not easy to convert from US Cellular, but I got it done.
There are only a couple of hiccups I've run into so far: I can't access my apn settings at all, so no data unless with wifi. Nothing shows up under APN settings, and when I try to add an apn it disappears. In apn setting it says "Access Point Name Settings are not available for this user." I've Googled it and can't find a working solution. The second issue is it won't boot up if I use an OC kernel, it only boots on stock kernel.
I am stuck using the NF1 modem for US Cellular because odin will not allow me to update to the Sprint OH1 modem on this device. I believe this has something to do with one or both of my listed issues.
If its not a problem, I was wondering if you or someone  could Please make a flashable zip of the Sprint OH1 modem for me to try.
This rom runs super smooth on the SCH-R960 device, and its the best alternative to stock TW roms by far.

A new build
Wow, a new build. We didn't see that coming.
Gonna give it a shot now.

Edit: New build killed my wifi. Won't connect to my wifi router.

Once again , stellar work! Everything functioning flawlessly. I am getting an occasional issue, of "process stopped" after loading. I just press wait and everything is fine and functional.  The odd part is it doesn't state which "process stopped". No worries as is not really an issue. Just thought I'd share in case it becomes an issue. Thanks again!!

I'm sorry for the late response but why are you unable to download the ROM?

thereian2, I'm sorry but I am
thereian2, I'm sorry but I am so busy at the moment I can barely keep up with the ROM,  I'm doing my best.  I wasn't even aware of your version of the Mega.  Honestly, considering its CDMA it may be as simple as a build.prop tweak.  You'll have to meet me half way here and research this and send me what you find please.

Wi-Fi
The wifi actually does work on my version of the Mega. I re-downloaded the rom and did a clean install, wifi worked immediately. So the problem was a corrupt download on my end. I haven't ironed out the issue with the APN settings. I will do a build.prop edit and see if that works. I will keep the forum updated.

Please update us with the APN
Please update us with the APN settings if you get them to work.  I'll make a flashable zip.  Right now I'm dealing with heat issues while compiling.  Computer is hitting 180+ degrees and causing sigsev errors. I AM WORKING ON CM13!. Heat issue is causing long compile times and problems.

Gsm capabilities
I have a sph-l600 that I have rooted and installed cm12.1 rom. I am completely new to tinkering with the inner workings of phones, and it should be a testament to the OP and all the developers on xda forums that I could make it happen! I was hoping that there is a way to run this phone on U.S. t-mobile service via modem flashing or any other way. I know that this phone has gsm radio, but I don't know how to activate it. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

I tried to take this phone to T-Mobile, they couldn't use it as it does not have SIM card capabilities. According to the sales clerk, not necessarily an expert, what you suggest was not possible. I was not able to find out if that was true or not, but did receive the same answer from 2 different T-Mobile locations.

This phone does have sprint
This phone does have sprint proprietary firmware that prevents it from recognizing a gsm sim; however it does have gsm radio capabilities. I was hoping to be able to flash a different modem to cooperate with gsm systems.
